Assistant Controller

Job Title: Assistant Controller You Don't Just Balance the Books. You Balance the Future.

At Yokogawa, we're shaping what's next—not only through innovation and technology but through clear-eyed, purpose-driven decisions. That begins with people like you.

As an Assistant Controller, your role isn't just financial—it's foundational. You don't just track what's spent and earned. You give shape to where we're going.

This is more than a numbers job. It's a chance to influence how a global organization invests in its future—responsibly, sustainably, and insightfully.

Where Your Journey Begins

You'll be part of a business that thrives on precision—but never loses sight of purpose. Your insights will power smarter strategies, stronger governance, and sustainable growth across Europe and beyond.

What you'll lead and support:

  • Build the Financial Story
Drive the development of business cases that move us forward—from feasibility to final sign-off.

  • Surface the Signals That Matter
Analyze performance data and economic trends to support decision-making at all levels.

  • Shape What's Possible
Create and maintain financial models that back big ideas with real numbers.

  • Dig Deep Into Data
Lead structured data collection and analysis to uncover risks, opportunities, and savings.

  • Make It Make Sense
Deliver compelling reporting that simplifies complexity for diverse stakeholders.

  • Strengthen Our Foundation
Help improve financial policies, protocols, and compliance frameworks across the company.

  • Be a Trusted Partner
Resolve internal and external queries with clarity, fairness, and a deep understanding of both policy and context.

  • Keep Growing
Stay up-to-date on financial regulations, technology tools, and best practices—while also investing in your personal and professional growth.

What You Bring to the Table
  • A deep understanding of controlling, budgeting, financial policy, and analysis.

  • Proven skills in business case development, financial modelling, and economic research.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and data tools (you're comfortable with structure, but agile with change).

  • 7–12 months of relevant experience and a background in short-cycle tertiary education.

  • Some experience coordinating others (4–6 months)—you know how to guide without micromanaging.

  • Curiosity, clarity, and commitment.
